The main lake is a large body of water and can be a lot of fun. This option certainly isn’t for every group, for example: families with young children, or elderly people, but for many others it can provide a very unique experience. A lot of people really never see the main lake or see only a glimpse of the whole picture. 5 hours of time will give a person a pretty good look at the lake and a real sailing experience. On this charter I provide snacks as well as some form of memorabilia. Is this a special occasion, a birthday, an anniversary or retirement for example? I will also spring for a bottle of Cooks Brut sparkling wine. We can’t control the wind, and some days are much better than others when it comes to wind as well as clouds, but there is always opportunity for sailing even in the lightest of breezes. On a day with five hours of sailing time, and a good wind, you can cover a fair amount of water. On a day with minimal wind there are a number of sandy beaches on the main lake that provide good swimming and opportunities for real relaxation so come prepared for what the day hands us.
